A prominent Israeli expert on rabbinical law recently stated that visits by Israeli nationals to Nazi concentration camps in Poland are forbidden by rabbinical religious law. Rabbi Aviner’s judgment was published in the religious “Ma’ayaney Hayeshua” journal.

The Rabbi believes that Israelis are only allowed to leave the land of Israel to perform mitzvah. A mitzvah being one of the 613 commandments said by Judaism to be found in the Torah.

The Rabbi also made clear in a later interview with Ynet News that any such trips to Poland only benefited in raising revenue for the descendants of Polish Nazi collaborators:

“Educational school trips to the Nazi death camps in Poland have become common among most Jewish sectors in Israel, but prominent Zionist Rabbi Shlomo Aviner recently claimed that they are in fact forbidden for halachic reasons, and urged schools to cancel them….

…In a conversation with Ynet, Aviner explained: “As is well known, leaving Israel is permitted only for the sake of mitzvah, while visiting the death camps is not defined as a mitzvah by the Halacha. There are important figures and great rabbis who have not visited there.

…Another argument against visiting the camps, according to the rabbi, was the fact that the Polish people “collaborated with the Nazis” and were now making a living off of these visits. “I’m not busy holding a grudge against the Poles, but we shouldn’t provide livelihood to people who allowed death camps to be built on their land and who are now making a profit out of it.

“They are not my friends and I don’t want to support them.”

According to Aviner, it was not accidental that the Nazis chose to erect the extermination camps in Poland. “They knew that the people would do nothing. One person was enough to blow up the railroad tracks. Why wasn’t this done? Because they all said, ‘good,’ smiled and waited for what needed to be done to be done by the Nazis…..”

Rewind to 2006 and during the Israel-Lebanon war I wrote an article entitled Neo-Nazi’s, Israel And Hezbollah. It centred around the issue of British Neo-Nazi support for Israel in its war against Lebanon.

For anyone who knows anything about the British National Party then this is very surprising. It is a party that was founded by a person who admired Hitler. While whose current leader has a conviction for incitement to racial hatred relating to his views of the Holocaust.

Fast forward to Gaza 2009 and it looks like the neo-Nazis of the BNP are at still at it as you see from the image below:

The latest installment of Muslim war graves being desecrated in an European countries took place in France last night just before the beginning of the Islamic festival of Eid al-Adha.

This attack targeted 500 Muslim graves in France’s biggest military graveyard the Notre Dame de Lorette near Arras.

This is not the first time that a show of hatred towards Muslims who fought for European nations have been carried out.

In April 2007 Muslim World War I graves were desecrated at the same site. Then in April 2008 the same cemetery was attacked by anti-Islam vandals. Finally in November 2008 Muslim war gaves were attacked in Slovenia.

President Sarkozy called last nights attack revolting and hateful:

“Neo-Nazi vandals have daubed swastikas and racist graffiti on the graves of 500 First World War soldiers in the Muslim section of a military cemetery in northern France.

Slogans insulting the Islamic faith were sprayed on headstones in the second mass desecration this year at Notre-Dame de Lorette cemetery in the Somme.

Insults directed at Muslim-born French justice minister Rachida Dati were also painted on several headstones, police said…

… President Nicolas Sarkozy described last night’s attack as ‘a revolting and hateful act’.

‘It is both an insult to their religion and to the memories of brave men who fought and died for France.’

….An Arras police spokesman said: ‘These criminals vandalised around 500 of the 576 gravestones in the cemetery.We believe that once again the perpetrators are racially motivated and possibly connected to the National Front party or other far right organisations….

…During the First World War, France mobilised about 600,000 colonial subjects, including many Muslims from Algeria and Tunisia, of whom 78,000 were killed.

Some 1.2 million French soldiers were killed in all during the war.” (Source: Daily Mail)

The message from these vandals seems quite clear to all.

As a Muslim you can expect to fight and be killed for the freedoms of your colonial masters. But for your sacrifice expect that after 94 year some Nazi vandal will come along and desecrate your last resting place.

Long before the word “Islamofascism” was ever uttered there was menace that swept through the western world. Consisting of members who were the epitome of European racial superiority. The blonde haired and blue eyed fascists of the Third Reich were directly or indirectly responsible for the deaths of around 72 million people.

A news story from Austria today has rekindled for some the horrors of that period with details that grave robbers have removed the mortal remains of German industrialist Friedrich Karl Flick.

Friedrich Karl Flick was the son of rabid Nazi and war criminal Friedrich Flick who used salve labour in his factories during the Nazi period and who left an inheritance of billions through his family business:

“German industrialist Friedrich Karl Flick, who died aged 79 in 2006, was disinterred from his last resting place in an Austrian graveyard.

The corpse robbers stole him and his oak coffin from the family mausoleum at the cemetery at Velden am Woertherse in what police believe may be an attempt to extort money from his widow….

…The grave robbers struck last weekend but the theft was only discovered on Wednesday.

A stonemason hired by the family to repair his gravestone which had been damaged by vandals noticed that the marble slab inside the mausoleum had been moved.

Police estimate it would have taken at least six men to disinter the remains of the industrialist. The coffin alone weighed over 18 stone.

His widow Ingrid Flick, his third wife, inherited an estimated £4bn. She and his children are now under police guard….

….Flick was born the youngest of the sons of Friedrich Flick, the German industrialist and rabid Nazi who was sentenced as a war criminal for his massive use of concentration camp labour during the Third Reich.

In 1972, when his father died, Friedrich inherited the major part of the family business. The family always refused to pay compensation to the victims who worked as slaves in its factories.” (Source: Daily Telegraph)

For men from the northern English county of Lancashire were under arrest this morning.

The arrests came after claims the men had produced and distributed leaflets accusing Muslims of being responsible for the heroin trade in the United Kingdom.

Two of the men arrested are members of the British National Party:

“Four men were held this morning after a police investigation over the distribution of leaflets branding Muslims responsible for the heroin trade.

A 41-year-old man from Burnley, a 43 year-old man from Blackburn, a 53-year-old man from Preston and a 57-year-old man from Nelson were all arrested today.

They will be questioned by detectives at Burnley police station today on suspicion of the publication and distribution of written material intended to stir up racial hatred and the possession of racially inflammatory material.

Police would not say if the four were BNP members but the party said two were members in the local area.

Nick Griffin, leader of the far-right party, is visiting the town today to protest outside Burnley Police station at the “persecution” of its members arrested after “Gestapo-like dawn raids” by police…..

The leaflet was distributed to homes in Burnley, Pendle and Preston and is also reportedly circulating in other parts of Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire.

It says people should “heap condemnation” on Muslims and that it is time for them to “apologise” as it claims they are responsible for 95% of the world’s heroin trade.

The leaflets, which first appeared around March, were first distributed by a former BNP candidate, according to the party’s website.” (Source: Lancashire Telegraph)
