St. John is coming up for release after being given a 3 year jail term and is determined to return to work as a doctor. His wife is leading his cause by representing him at a General Medical Council hearing to determine his future career status:

“A DOCTOR jailed for sucking the breasts of a mum-to-be begged a tribunal not to strike him off yesterday.

Perverted GP Michael St John, 59 – also convicted of intimately groping the patient aged 28 – made the plea to continue his 30-year career in a letter from his cell….

..St John wrote of his “regret and remorse”. He sexually assaulted the Muslim woman, who was seven months pregnant, after telling her to remove her hijab at Stepney Health Centre in East London.

Ard escaped jail after a wrote a letter explaining how ashamed and embarrassed he was about his behaviour.

The assailant pleaded guilty to religiously aggravated assault. He was handed down a suspended jail sentence, ordered to pay £1000 compensation and carry out 150 hours of community service:

“A thug who ripped off a Muslim woman’s headscarf as she passed him in the street says he’s ‘ashamed’ of what he did.

Stephen Ard was handed a 16-week jail sentence, suspended for a year, after he admitted a charge of religiously aggravated assault.

Leicester magistrates also ordered him to pay his victim £1,000 compensation after hearing he was drunk at the time of the incident….

…Ard, 29, walked free after writing a letter of apology to the court. He said he felt ‘ashamed and embarrassed’ by his behaviour.” {Source: Daily Mail}

It is claimed that fifty four year old Valerie Kenney attacked Amal Abusumayah while she shopped at a supermarket on 7th November 2009:

“Authorities have filed a hate crime charge against a woman who allegedly yanked the headscarf of a Muslim woman in a Tinley Park supermarket two days after the Fort Hood shootings.

Tinley Park police said Wednesday that 54-year-old Tinley Park bank teller Valerie Kenney is accused of confronting Amal Abusumayah while they were shopping in the same supermarket on Nov. 7….

The reason behind the murder was Rami’s anger at his sister’s conversion to Islam and marriage to Ahmed Saleh.

Now an Egyptian court has sentenced both Rami Atef Khella and his uncle Raafat Khella to death.

As mentioned before the attack took place last year and ended in the death of Ahmed Salah,  the wounding of his wife Mariam Atef Khella and her baby:

“Two Egyptian Christians have been condemned to death for the murder of a Muslim man who married one of their relatives after she converted to Islam, a judicial source said on Sunday.

The source said Rami Atef Khella and Raafat Khella, the brother and uncle respectively of Mariam Atef Khella, had broken into the northern Cairo home of the couple armed with a gun.

Rami riddled the husband, Ahmed Salah, with bullets, killing him on the spot, while Mariam and the couple’s daughter Nur were wounded, security officials said at the time of the attack more than a year ago….

Whenever the word Shariah is mentioned in polite western society  notions of barbarity, misogyny and backwardness wash over the western mind. However this characterisation might not be wholly correct. As the comments to the following news report from the Daily Mail illustrate.

According to Saudi authorities,  in the northern city of Hail, a 22 year old man has been found guilty of raping five children and leaving one three year old to die in the desert. A lower court passed a guilty verdict and ordered the guilty man to be beheaded and crucified. Now a higher court has upheld the punishment and western commentators to the Daily Mail website are “singing” the praises of Shariah law:

The settlement has once again come to the notice of the world as another of it’s residents has been indicted on charges of incitement by an Israeli court.

Shmuel Ben-Yishai is a 51-year-old resident of Kiryat Arba and during an interview given to Arutz Sheva last year he  made incendiary statements. Ben-Yishai called for the slaughter of Israeli soldiers who took part in  the dismantling of  settlements around Hebron:

“…a statement Ben-Yishai made during the eviction of Gilad Farm outpost near Hebron a year ago.

Reporters covering the event quoted him as saying: “Damn the Ishmael defense and police forces. Damn all security forces. We wish them to cower before their enemies, we wish for all of them to become Gilad Shalit, for all of them to be slaughtered. That’s what they deserve.

“They are an army that protects Hamas and Palestine, an army that sacrifices Jewish blood for the sake of Palestine and that is what they deserve.” {Source: Ynet News}

The solider a member of the elite Givati Brigade stole the credit card from Gaza resident Ahmed Rafia during Operation Cast Lead:

“The Southern Command Military Court on Tuesday sentenced an IDF soldier to 7.5 months in prison for looting during Operation Cast Lead. The soldier was found guilty of stealing a credit card from a Gaza home and using it to withdraw NIS 1,600 from ATMs in Israel…..

…About two months ago, the soldier, who serves in the Givati Brigade’s elite Reconnaissance Unit, sent a letter of apology to Rafia together with NIS 1,620, equivalent to the sum he had stolen plus the interest.

Military Police are conducting several more investigations into allegations of looting and stealing during the operation in the Gaza Strip.” (Source: Jerusalem Post)

As long as he apologised and returned the money I’m sure no harm was really done.

It’s alleged that Gardner threatened a Muslim woman and her six month old child on 1st July at the Seattle Indian Health Board.

When confronted by police with the alleged assault Gardner claimed he was “doing his part to defend America”:

“The incident took place on July 1 when the 25-year-old woman and her 6-month-old baby visited the Seattle Indian Health Board at 611 12th Ave. South, according to the statement of probable cause.

Investigators said Eric Gardner reportedly made derogatory comments such as,”You Muslim people scare people when you wear that clothing,” and “When I see a black woman, it makes me want to throw up.”

The alarmed mother said she asked him what was wrong, to which he responded, “I’m talking to you (expletive), Muslim people,” the document said.

When the woman said, “What I wear does not make me a bad person,” Gardner told her, “You scare people,” and cursed at her, the woman told detectives.

The woman tried to move away from the aggressive man, but he followed her. He then pulled out a sheath knife with an 8- to 10-inch blade, held it in front of her face and said, “I’m going to cut you and your baby with this knife,” the statement said.

Gardner slammed the knife on the counter, struggling to get it out of the sheath, detectives said. A staff member of the health clinic reached over and took the knife away from the suspect….

…Police found Gardner walking in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood the following night. They said Gardner, who was carrying a knife, admitted he had “pulled a knife on a Muslim woman earlier in the day because he was ‘doing his part to defend America,’” according to the statement.” {Source: Seattle PI}

This unnamed Muslim woman is very fortunate she could have so easily  ended up like Marwa As-Sherbini.
