Fox News, An Unbiased Presenter And The Gospel Of Judas

I really do think that Fox News is the most unbiased news station in the world. I will go so far as to say that even the presenters on the station are so unbiased that it is beyond normal human reason or ability.
As a tribute to the unbiased people at Fox News I present this short clip:

We don’t have cable or satellite TV, so I’ve never seen this program before. I’d say we’re not missing anything, from the looks of it. Any Christian who has studied the Bible much at all is aware of the Apocrypha, and shouldn’t be surprised when documents are found that supposedly are from early AD, but not in the Bible. Christians believe that just as God directed the writing of His Word, He also directed the correct choosing of His Words to be included in the Bible.

I do not watch FOX at all. They say what they are told to say by the people who run this country.
As far as the story goes, I believe Judas and Jesus were close. Judas was one of the apostles. Just as Jesus had to die on the cross, Judas had to betray him. If not Judas, one of the others who were closest to Him.
I also have read the Book of Enoch which is about the pre-Adamic world. It explains much and was a part of the Bible at one time. I do not think the church scholars liked the idea of angels, fallen or not, having sex with human women and producing a race of giants. It also explains the presence of demons in our world.
The Bible is a history book and has many words of God and Jesus within its pages. However, unlike the 10 commandments, it was not given to man by God, so it has been tainted by man throughout the ages. Purposely? I think in some cases, yes. A lot is lost in translation as well.
This film was hilarious. If the guy in the middle had all the answers, why did he have two guests on his show? Shouting over your guest is usually NOT recommended.
As we say in Texas, that guy in the middle is one brick short of a full load.
Thanks for sharing.

Dirty Butter how can you say that the Bible is insipred by God when the Bible itself says that it has been written by the false pens of the scribes ?

Don’t stop there, Kashmiri. What verse are you using?

Regarding Fox News, I watch it a lot because it is the most fair and balanced news on television. I have spent nearly 20 years in broadcast and print journalism, including publishing and editing a newspaper, have a good grounding in journalism, and am therefore qualified to make that statement.
It is a common mistake on the part of consumers of information to not understand a basic and essential fact: News coverage has to do with facts such as what happened, when and where did it happen, and who was involved. News coverage must not address matters of opinion, except occasionally, and then only when it is clear that what you are reading/hearing/watching is someone’s opinion. When it comes to the what, when, where and who, Fox News is better than any other television news organization and nearly every major newspaper.
The program from which the excerpt was taken is not a news program; its purpose is, in addition to telling the what, when, where and who, to get into the why and how. It is an analysis program, and opinions are a proper component of such programs. So one must be careful to judge Fox News accordingly.
The host of the program excerpted is John Kasich, a former Congressman who now has an news analysis/opinion program on Fox. I normally like him, but I agree that he was particularly aggressive and unnecessarily interupted one of his guests in this segment. While it is quite okay for him to voice his displeasure with that guest’s comments on this type of program, it isn’t appropriate for him to do so by interupting the guest. I am surprized by this, as it is not his custom to behave that way. He clearly has a strong opinion about the Gospels.

Mr.Shott you make a valid point about the difference between news and opinion I agree with you. Having said that the general public watching such output sometimes are unable to differenciate between news reporting and opinion. As un-p.c. as it sounds most of the audience that are watching have the intellectual, reasoning ability and knowledge about issues that is equvilent to a ten year old child. I sure that such nuances are compeletly lost upon them.

Ah, Nomad, we have yet another area of agreement: Many/most consumers of information are grossly unprepared to understand what they see and hear.

I’ll ask again, Kashmiri. Where is this in the Bible, so I can look it up for myself?? I can’t place it in my memory.

Dirty Butter the biblical verse is Jeremiah 8:8
“ How can you say, ‘We are wise,
And the law of the LORD is with us’?
Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.

Thanks, Kashmiri. That was bothering me. The verse you have chosen is spoken by God through Jeremiah, his true prophet, as an indictement against the false prophets of his day, who were saying that Jerusalem was safe from the Babylonians. Jeremiah was warning the people to repent from their idolotrous ways or, if they refused to repent, then surrender to Babylon so that God could bring them out of captivity intact. Since Jerusalem did fall to Babylon, Jeremiah’s authenticity as a prophet was verified and the falseness of the other “prophets” was proved.
The first rule of Bible study is to be sure you are using a verse in its true context. I’m sure that is true of the Koran, as well.
