A “Clever” Westerner Strikes A Blow Against The Taliban
That is precisely what 20 years old Everett Thompson thought he was doing when he stabbed his 40 year old neighbor in the neck.
For Everett Thompson stabbed in the neck Iqbal Singh who is not a member nor probably has he ever been a member of the Taliban and has most likely never even been a Muslim in his life. Iqbal Singh the victim in this case is a follower of the Indian religion of Sikhism.
Sikhism originates in the Punjab region of India and is as distinct from Islam as is Buddhism or Hinduism. The current Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who is a Sikh is pictured above meeting American President George Bush.
Its a real sorry state of affairs but just shows what blind hate can do.

So sad. Blind hate, yes. It reminded me of a joke I heard once:
-A man is arrested for killing a jew and when questioned, he says: “I killed him because the jews killed Jesus”. And the officer says: “But that was 2000 years ago!” And the man says: “really? I just found out yesterday!”
